OAK MOON DNA offers Investigative Genetic Genealogy services with a mission to resolve unidentified human remains cases by practicing IGG proficiently and ethically. Engaged in volunteer work and open to opportunities for the public good.

Leigh Therriault, Investigative Genetic Genealogist

• Graduated from the IGG Certificate Program at Ramapo College of New Jersey - Inaugural class, Spring 2023.

• MSc in Communication, Behaviour and Credibility Analysis from the Manchester Metropolitan University.

• BA in Professional Communication from Royal Roads University, Victoria, British Columbia. 

• Member of Ontario Ancestors and the Genetic Genealogy Special Interest Group of the Ontario Genealogical Society.

• Member of the International Society of Genetic Genealogy (ISOGG).

• Genealogist certificate from IAP Career College.

• Completion of the Ontario Private Investigator Training Course.

• Individual Private Investigator Licence (Ontario) pursuant to the Private Security and Investigative Services Act 2005.

• Currently volunteering on an IGG team with the Toronto Police Service to help provide investigative leads in Doe cases.
